At 9:00 pm, part of Old Havana is moved by the sound of a cannon shot from the San Carlos de la Cabaña fortress. The ceremony is carried out by a squad of soldiers dressed in red and yellow-gold in the style of the Spanish colonial army. Those soldiers march towards the cannon, load it with gunpowder and lead.
This beautiful and historic ceremony currently takes place every day in front of a large number of tourists. However, it was actually a military procedure announcing the closing of the city gates.

- Stop at the Plaza de la Revolución, one of the largest in the world and home to one of the most interesting museums in all of Cuba.
- Stop by the Capitol building, one of the most emblematic places in Havana.
- Stop at the José Martí central park, a great attraction for travelers from all over the world, where the history of majestic buildings and nature are combined.
- Visit to the Gran Teatro de La Habana Alicia Alonso, magnificent building headquarters of the Ballet and the National Opera of Cuba.(entrance fee not included)
- Panoramic visit to of the Morro Fortress, an important fortification built in Cuba in the 16th century.
- Panoramic visit to the Christ of Havana, a monumental sculptural work about 20 meters high.
- Dinner time at the most recommended restaurants in Havana of your choice. (not included in the tour price)
- At 9:00 pm you can enjoy one of the Cuban traditions: the “nine o clock cannon shot” on the guided tour of the San Carlos de la Cabaña Fortress.
